Early Years
The Early Years covers Nursery and Reception and follows the EarlyYears Foundation Stage framework. At the end of the Reception year an Early Years Profile is completed for each child through ongoing observation and assessment to summarise their attainment in a number of areas of learning.

Key Stage 1 (KS1)
This covers Years 1 and 2. Children at Key Stage 1 follow the National Curriculum and during Year 2 are assessed using a combination of teacher assessment, tasks and tests to give an overall Key Stage 1 SATS level.

Key Stage 2 (KS2)
This cover Years 3,4,5 and 6. Children at Key Stage 2 follow the National Curriculum and at the end of Year 6 take their Key Stage 2 SATS.

Arrangement of our classes in KS1 and KS2 varies according to the number of children in each age group. Classes are arranged according to age, as mixed age groups (eg. Years 1/2 and 3/4 and 5/6). All classes are of mixed ability.
