Our priority is that children acquire both scientific skills and knowledge in this core subject area. We teach the children to explore and observe the world around them and develop a methodical way of working. Children are taught how to use scientific equipment safely and to access the correct instruments for the task. They are encouraged to communicate their findings effectively by using graphs charts or diagrams.

Science is taught in a 2 yearly rotation in the Infant class and a 2 yearly cycle in the juniors to ensure whole curriculum coverage.
